It’s always been a passion of ours to give back to our community.
Over the years we’ve noticed an increasing number of people coming through our doors who want a fresh start at life, but aren’t in a financial position to pay for tattoo removal.
Many of these people are in extreme situations or have a number of unfortunate circumstances including:
People with visible tattoos (face, neck, hands, head etc) that inhibit their chances of gaining employment
Ex-gang members with gang and club affiliated tattoos who want to leave that life behind them
Survivors of domestic violence, immigration detention or human trafficking that were forced to get certain tattoos
People with offensive and visible tattoos that are stopping them from living a full life
People who have recently completed a jail sentence and want to move forward without visible reminders of the past
Children and teenagers under 18 who have been tattooed
Tattoos can be a painful reminder of a life that one desires to leave behind. Removing unwanted tattoos can be a major step forward during the recovery process and can help restore dignity, self-esteem and self-worth.
Today we’re excited to launch LaserTat’s Fresh Start Program — offering FREE tattoo removal assistance to people who’ve had the courage to move forward in life to become a better version of themselves.
Applications are open until 5:00pm ACDST 30 November 2019.
